If they were your father and brother would your art depict the same?
If they were my father and brother the final piece would be different for sure, but not less “honest”, or “hard”. It would be from the perspective of a son and a brother. Probably a more tragic looking piece, feeling more “Shakespearean” in nature. When I heard the news, I saw this image in my head. After finishing the piece, I was alittle shocked at it myself. The next day, I read an article about Bernie’s wife saying “His blood is on his father’s hands.” (link to story of “his blood is on his father’s hands“) T.
Well I have to say I do hate modern art and the urine is plain disgusting yet I must stand by you on this one. You see, Uncle Bernie committed Conspiracy and Treason Against the American People. His son had his own cross to bear and hard as it may seem for Progressives, Communists, Democrats to understand, the highest form of human expression, productivity and creativity is the individual. Many of us are on the brink of losing all, while fighting the good fight and without luxury or loss of principle which made America the Greatest Nation and still last best Hope for the Nations of the World. Madoff needs not add the weight of his son to his own cross nor should the defeatism of his son, abandonment of his family, opportunity to live in pursuit of ingloriously cooperating in getting every cent possible back from those his father began a great curse which has already claimed its first generational victim, be allowed any false compassion. Now it will be up to another to pick up; willfully that Cross and carry it for the sake of the others. Nice painting, suggest you have Uncle Bernie Making the Rope though and his son willfully hanging himself instead.
